Your role

You’ll inspire small and medium-sized businesses to adopt our B2B e-commerce platform, avanta—whether by phone, online, or in person. You’ll understand their processes and demonstrate how avanta specifically helps them digitize their sales operations.

In B2B e-commerce, a great deal of data and processes are drawn from existing ERP or inventory management systems. Anyone who understands how these systems work is well-positioned to provide professional consulting and sales support in the B2B e-commerce sector.

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of and experience with ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Proalpha, MS Dynamics, ABAS, Infor, or similar)
• Completed vocational training or a degree in business or IT.
• Passion for consulting and sales, combined with an empathetic and persuasive manner
• 1–2 days of on-site work at the office in Fulda

Your responsibilities

You’ll start with a structured onboarding process and initially work closely with experienced colleagues. Step by step, you’ll take on more responsibility—with a clear path toward independent sales.

• Qualifying and following up on inbound leads (no cold calling)
• Preparing and delivering client presentations (online and in person)
• Participating in client meetings, workshops, and “deep dives”
• Preparing quotes for our software solution, avanta, and for implementation services
• Following up with prospects and supporting them through to contract signing
• Providing support and feedback to the marketing team (e.g., on leads, campaigns, target audiences)
• Long-term goal: independently closing deals in the licensing and project business

• A college degree, e.g., in business administration, business informatics, communication studies, or a comparable field
• Strong interest in sales, consulting, and customer communication
• Experience in consulting or implementing digital solutions
